- Every raw goods acrylic supplier will tell you that acrylic
should be heated in a double oven. However, due to the high cost of equipment
other bathtub liner companies choose to use a single sided oven. The optimal
temperatures for forming the ABS and Acrylic sides of the sheet are different.
Our two-sided heat and infrared temperature sensors allows us to form the
co-extruded acrylic at is optimal temperature every time so that the product
flows over the mold evenly and stress-free.

- Replacement is an alternative, although it is an expensive
one. No matter what you are replacing, you must first tear-out the old items.
Traditional remodeling can run in the tens of thousands and when it is all said
and done the new items don’t last any longer than the Prolux acrylic bath
system. We make products that allow you to get the new look and feel and a more
affordable price and in less time.

 |
- The Prolux acrylic bath liner systems can be installed over
your existing bathtub (cast iron or stamped steel), shower, and wall surround.
|
 |
- One of the best characteristics of Prolux products is the
fact that they designed and engineered for ease of installation. Usually a
bathroom can be completed in just one day.
